Great sources to consider are public, business, or university libraries, industry associations, trade publications, the U. S. Government, and of course, the internet. Find out who the competition is. Knowing what the competition has to offer makes it easy to distinguish the product or service from similar ones on the market. Proper research can point out a product’s strengths and/or weaknesses, and why one company is better to do business with over another.
