This is my review for the Canon sd1300is Compact Digital Camera

I’m just a regular guy that wants an easy to use camera that takes high quality pictures and this camera gets the job done. If you just leave it in “automatic” mode all you have to do is point and shoot, and you’ll get very nice high quality pictures.

The Canon sd1300is also has an easy to use menu system if you want to get into it and make adjustments and refinements. I also like the form factor – not too big, not too small, fits in a pocket, and feels good in your hands. This is a great camera for a regular person that just wants good pictures without all the fuss…..

I’ve used three Canon digital digital cameras over the last several years, and my new Canon Powershot SD1300IS is the one that excites me the most. I have been using a Powershot S5IS, but this new little guy, which I purchased for my wife initially, has become my favorite. It’s compactness and power house of features has made it the ideal camera for me.

Much of what is offered by the S5IS goes unused, but the features of the Canon SD1300IS cover all of my needs, and are easier to use. The results have been awesome, but to be fair, I have taken some awesome pictures with my S5IS. The compactness of the S1300IS is what makes it work as a point and shoot camera.

It fits handily in my pocket with room to spare, and people react differently to larger cameras with a more a negative effect on the results. The smaller cameras are hardly noticed leading to a more candid feel about the results. Maybe my wife will now have to order her own Canon SD1300IS from Amazon.

This little camera is great – small and sleek, I take it everywhere with me. It easily fits in my pocket/clutch/purse. I like that it turns on and photographs quickly so when I need to capture something fleeting, I can.

That said, I’m no photographer, and the automatic features deliver great shots most of the time. I received this Canon on time and in mint condition. Overall, I had a great experience with this vendor and I’m happy with my camera. I recommend purchasing from them.

The product is good and delivery was very quick. Picture quality is excellent, but as other reviewers noted there is some manual entries that have to be made for certain conditions – the auto feature is not as good as I would like.

I miss the viewfinder, but knew it wouldn’t be part of this product. The Canon sd1300is is so small I almost forget it is in my pocket when out and about – makes it very easy to take along any time.
